# NexRex — Running Coach Software and Club Training Management

> NexRex is a training management platform for running coaches and running clubs. Coaches manage athletes, group training plans, progress, and communication on the web; runners follow their plans in the NexRex app for iOS and Android. Rex, the built-in AI training assistant, prepares post-workout summaries, weekly recaps, and check-in drafts in the coach's voice for the coach to review.

## What coaches can do

- Organize runners into groups by ability, race goal, or training schedule, and invite them with a group link.
- Build workouts and periodized training plans, and assign them to one athlete or a whole group.
- See who needs attention: athletes without a scheduled plan, injury risk, broken streaks, training load (CTL, ATL, TSB), and race countdowns.
- Message athletes one to one or broadcast to a group by push, LINE, or email.
- Let Rex draft training plans, post-workout summaries, weekly recaps, and check-in messages that the coach reviews before sending.
- Club plan: invite assistant coaches, audit logs, API and webhooks, and custom integration.

## Watch and app sync

Runners connect Garmin Connect, Strava, or Apple Health. Garmin syncs each run within minutes and pushes structured workouts to the watch. Apple Watch, COROS, Polar, and other watches sync through Strava; Apple Watch also connects through Apple Health.

Prices are regional list prices, not currency conversions. Paid plans include a 30-day free trial with no credit card.

NexRex covers athlete management, group training plans, and messaging in one platform, and adds Rex, an AI assistant that organizes training signals and drafts summaries and check-ins so coaches spend their time on judgment and relationships. Coach-plan pricing is flat rather than charged per premium athlete.

## Connect NexRex to your AI assistant

Athletes and coaches can ask Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or VS Code about their NexRex training through the NexRex MCP server at `https://mcp.nexrex.ai/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, sign-in with the NexRex account, no key or token). The assistant reads only what the account can see; for coaches it follows each athlete's sharing settings. It can review activities, plans, recovery and race predictions, read coached rosters and groups, draft plans and propose workout changes; saving or applying a change requires an explicit instruction.
